Hello, if you are reading this you are probably feeling vulnerable and trying to grapple with many intense emotions at an extremely difficult time. There are arrangements to be made and put in place, I am available to guide you through this tumultuous time and assist you, in a compassionate and understanding way.
I realised twenty years ago when my dear dad passed away, just how important it is at such a difficult time, to have the right celebrant representing and speaking on behalf of your family.
This event was a turning point in my life in many ways. Being able to have your thoughts conveyed and expressed in a caring manner gave me and my family so much peace of mind, comfort and a sense of pride that this last tribute, depicted the true essence of our dear dad.
This had a profound effect on me and it was at this time that I knew that this was an extremely important vocation and one that I remain passionate about today.
My priority is always to do my very best to ensure that your wishes and those of your loved one are given the utmost respect and care. I consider it an honour to be of assistance to you and your family in the days ahead.
Arranging a celebration of your loved one’s life: Firstly, please accept my heartfelt condolences and a big hug. Dealing with death is not an easy thing, something that most of us dread. We need to make extremely important decisions when we are at our very worst.
Please remember, don’t be rushed into making decisions, you have time.
Usually the first telephone call you will make is to a Funeral Director. If you don’t know any, I would be happy to do that for you. The Funeral Director will contact you and everything will be arranged by them.
If you were wanting a religious Funeral Ceremony in a Church you would need to contact the relevant Minister or Priest.
If you were planning to use a Celebrant, this is where I can help you. I will make a convenient time to visit your home where I would gather information to begin the writing of the ceremony. This would be emailed to you making as many changes as required to get it just right.
I am a trained Funeral Celebrant and I believe that planning, creating and presenting a unique ceremony, is one of the most important things I could ever do. I am passionate and place great importance on making the ceremony and the life story of your loved one exactly as you want it to be. I am very respectful but at the same time I will endeavour to find the true essence of your loved one and put that into words that will help celebrate this life that was lived and shared.
A funeral service is often the last gesture of love that a family can give their loved one. It is extremely important to me that I give you the family and your loved one a service that you will be proud of for many years to come.
I always consider it an honour when a family entrusts me as their chosen Celebrant. When you are ready, please feel free to contact me on 0419 539 087 , or reach me via my contact form.
